I'm not sure if anyone is still interested in Italian Wool Blankets, but I just bought mine from here. Seems reputable.http://www.gr8gear.com/catalog/Bunk-Beds-Cots-Blankets/Blankets/Blanket-Authentic-Italian-Officer/(I didn't know where to share this information on the site so Adminstators be gentle please.)

Let us know what you think once you get them. I am in the market for some.... but finding the good ones seems to be a challange.

Soon as they get them shipped to me I promise to take some pics with a written review on them and the vendor for you and Andrew. I noticed it said they weighed 5 lbs and measured 63" x 78 inches which was confusing considering Adam done a Youtube video saying his was 6 lbs. measuring 64" x 84". This site seems reputable with all the googling I did yesterday with no complaints, but I can't promise anything if you decide to order from them........Best of luck!

The picture certainly looks like a genuine italian army wool blanket and even at the measurements they state I believe it's bigger than my israeli wool blanket so I think I might order one. Also I'm gonna try that tip with the conditioner on my current wool blanket.

I'm not sure if you guys can get them in the US, and supply is drying up here in the UK, but the Dutch wool blankets are highly regarded here in the UK

I bought a few,then a few more.

There is one in my vehicle at all times and I have more than a few in the house and on camping trips no matter the time of year.

I saw one made into a poncho/pullovershirt and wish I could find someone to do that for me as its amazing.

Is there any other websites or places I can get a 100% wool blanket in Canada?  The websites listed don't ship up north :(. Sorry for the late post on this topic.

Harbor Freight sells 80/20 wool blankets for $9.99. Is that extra 20% worth spending 3 times as much?

Try the Bay! 400 bucks for an authentic point blanket. Of course your ass will howl in the wind afterward if you do purchase it.

Thanks Ken, but I think $400 is a wee bit pricey.  hahaah..  I just ordered a 70% wool GI blanket from canteen shop.  Unfortunatey they were out of the 90% :( .

Ok I'm not going to keep going on and on about wool blankets, but thought I would share what I had found.  After creating an account and picking out a blanket from the canteen shop for about $25 and finding out that shipping would be an extra $35 I opted to again search locally.

Luckily, I found a Hungarian 70% wool blanket from a local store called Supply Sgt for $40 which I will be testing out in the next couple weeks.  My other purchase for the day was an SKS....it was a good day :)

So there ya have it.  haha
